Julie is a partner based in our Tadley office and is a highly experienced family law specialist. Julie is dedicated to providing clients with friendly, but effective and realistic advice with regards to all aspects of family law. Her primary aim is to provide understandable and practical advice and information at, what can be, a very difficult and emotional time in peoples’ lives.

Julie’s specialities include matters relating to divorce and resolving financial issues which arise as a result, civil partnership cases, the negotiation and preparation of legal documents including pre-nuptial, separation and cohabitation agreements and any disputes concerning children.

Julie is a member of ‘Resolution’, an organisation whose members believe in a constructive, non-confrontational and efficient approach to family law matters. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in financial disputes concerning substantial assets and/or pensions and is also a member of the Law Society’s specialist Family Law Panel. Julie is therefore highly experienced in all financial aspects of separation and divorce, especially those involving very substantial and/or complicated assets, businesses, partnerships and companies.Julie has been recommended in the Legal 500 for several years.

Julie holds the firm belief that it is almost always the case that a negotiated resolution to a problem is better for all members of a family, particularly where there are children involved. Consequently, she is a qualified mediator in relation to all aspects of family law and a respected collaborative lawyer. She is a member of the Berkshire West Collaborative Family Law Group and the North Hants Collaborative Pod .

Julie qualified as a solicitor in 1996 (having previously been a chartered legal executive since 1990) and joined Rowberry Morris in 2000. Julie’s law career spans in excess of 30 years and she has specialised in the field of family law for over 25 years.

As a reflection of Julie’s commitment to families in general, she was also a trustee of Relate Berkshire for over 15 years when she retired from her post as Vice Chair. Julie also undertakes free advice clinics at Tadley’s local Citizens Advice Bureau.
