Emily is a Solicitor with Rowberry Morris in the Child Care Department having completed her training contract with the firm. During her training, Emily was largely based in the Care department but also gained exposure in the Property and Probate departments.
Emily represents and assists parents with matters where social services are involved, both at a pre-proceedings stage (before Court action) and if and when Court proceedings commence, attending both the County and Magistrates Courts to represent parents. Emily also works alongside Jasbinder Dail, Head of Family and Partner in the Reading office assisting with Guardian work.
Emily completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree achieving a 2:1 and subsequently achieved a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course. Upon successful completion of her legal studies, Emily went onto to gain experience in both personal injury litigation and all aspects of family law, including disputes between parents on where a child should live, injunctive relief applications and divorce (including financial) matters.
Emily is used to dealing with very delicate issues which at times are highly emotive. Emily takes an empathetic and friendly approach but provides sensible and practical advice to achieve the best outcome for clients during a time which can be very stressful.
