Care Solicitor - Reading Office

Rowberry Morris are looking for a solicitor to join our Reading Office to work with our Child Care department. We are looking for a candidate with an empathetic and enthusiastic personality.

The successful candidate will have experience in acting for Parents involved in Care Proceedings and attending PLO meetings. Membership of the Children Panel an advantage.

All candidates must be local to our Reading office or within 30 minutes of travel to enable face-to-face meetings with clients in the office and attending court hearings when required.

Role requirements:

  • Interest and experience in court advocacy
  • Prepare and conduct cases efficiently in accordance with the firm’s policies
  • Develop caseload and develop the department
  • Use of IT systems including case management software
  • Compliance with Money Laundering procedures and GDPR
  • Have a passion for dealing with vulnerable clients with an empathetic nature
