Our Children are the Future
In the fast pace life we lead, it is only natural to believe that we are immortal and that the inevitable is something that happens to other people. However we can never know what is around the next corner and should always make provision for both our futures and the future of our loved ones.
Wills are relevant to all of us, regardless of our age and wealth. For example, a young couple with limited assets may be celebrating the happy arrival of a child, which raises two important questions:
- Who will look after the minor children if the parents were to die prematurely?
If only one parent dies, the surviving parent will be entitled to raise their children provided he or she has “parental responsibility”.
Parental responsibility, chosing guardians and appointing trustees.
