We are more than just experts! What makes us different is the personalised service we provide to our clients and our success rate. We settle more than 90% of our claims through negotiation and if we have to start proceedings, only 5% of the cases ever result in a trial.

With over 50 years of dealing with accident claims, our lawyers are members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, of the College of Personal Injury Law and of the Law Society’s own specialist personal injury panel.

We work on a ‘no win, no fee’ basis. That means that you can bring a claim without having to worry about facing a huge bill if you lose.

Case study

A recent client, Mr A M, sustained potentially life threatening injuries in a Road Traffic accident in July 2007. He suffered multiple broken bones and a punctured lung, which left him severely incapacitated. With his permission we are able to disclose the details of his case. Mr A M originally instructed a firm of solicitors local to him who decided to pursue criminal charges against the driver of the vehicle who knocked him off his bicycle. However, because Mr A M had been concussed in the accident and was unable to say definitively what had happened to him, the Crown Prosecution Service was unable to secure a criminal conviction against the driver. His former solicitors refused to explore the potential of the case any further.

Mr A M came to Rowberry Morris. We managed to trace a witness to the accident, whose testimony proved invaluable. We also visited Mr A M to see him in his home environment and collect the testimony of those close to him in a relaxing atmosphere.

Because of the caring yet professional attitude of our specialist lawyers, we achieved the best possible result for our client: an admission of liability with a very satisfactory offer for compensation. Mr A M certainly feels happy with our service.

If you've had an accident you should:

  • Take photographs of your injuries, especially cuts and bruises
  • Store in a safe place any damaged clothing or other items
  • Take the names and addresses of any witnesses
  • Keep a diary of events from the day of the accident, remembering to record how you feel.

When you first contact us we will arrange a free, no obligation consultation to discuss your case. If we consider that you have a good case then we will write to your opponent and tell them that you are making a claim. They then have 4 months in which to decide whether they are prepared to admit that your accident was your fault.

In order to tell how much your claim is worth, we need to commission a medical report, which says what your injuries are and - more importantly - how long it might take you to get better.
