ROWBERRY MORRIS SUPPORTS THE NEW VICTORIA MEDICAL FOUNDATION

The Richmond based office of Rowberry Morris was pleased to be among the sponsors of the Funny Women Comedy Challenge held at the Bingham Hotel, Richmond, on Tuesday 23 November 2010. The event  raised awareness and funds for THE NEW VICTORIA MEDICAL FOUNDATION, a Richmond based charity concerned with providing medical help to improve the quality of life of the disabled. 100% of the proceeds raised through the event will be used to provide mobility equipment for disabled children living in the local area.

Lorna Votier, Head of Fundraising at the charity said:

ROWBERRY MORRIS SUPPORTS BREAST CANCER Breakthrough

At the end of a week long cancer campaign, the Tadley branch of Rowberry Morris were pleased to present Breast Cancer Breakthrough with a donation of £130.

Organised by Carol Burr, the firm’s receptionist and Julie Gallimore, Partner in the firm’s Family Department, the pink themed event was marked by daily cake sales and culminated with a ‘what’s in the pink wardrobe’ day on Thursday 21st October. Each of our employees was invited to make a donation for the privilege of wearing pink, resulting in a total of £130.

Asked about the office’s choice of charity, Mrs Gallimore said

Several friends and family of the firm have been affected by this terrible disease and it felt right to try and raise funds; it helped that we all had fun doing so!
